    Dimir would only get House Dimir spell as they are not leading a true second life it is just a persona that they can just easily throw away if they desire.

    Instead House Dimir characters would use illusion an trickery to make people think they were using magic from other houses.

    Also the False Identity feature is limited to documentation and history basically having the necessary paperwork and the knowledge and skill to back it up and make it hold up under scrutiny not actually taking other guilds magic.

    The only way I would allow it is if the person switched from another clan to Dimir at a later time and had already taken the spells from their previous clan.

    Modern AC is similar but simpler as you are just adding not adding and subtracting and trying to meet or beat their AC number.

    THAC0 worked like this if you had a THAC0 score of 10 and rolled a 12 then you can hit something with at up to -2 armor

    In general the numbers don't convert to well to 5E now as the original change happened from 2nd to 3rd from THAC0 to AC And numbers got crunched a bit in 5e.

    Amulet of health (rare) lets you dump con and not worry by setting it to 19

    Way too good for its rarity

    cloak of protection (uncommon) many people forget it adds 1+ to all saves as well as AC

    Flame Tongue (rare) adds a great sword hit of fire damage to every swing

     Impede way too strong as written. Giving disadvantage on an attack is the equivalent of a range of about -3 to 5 to any attack roll especially with a duration .

    Another thing you can try is as a sanguine style subclass give them a reason to invest in constitution

    Impede - As Written

    You can sacrifice 2 hitpoints to halve an enemy's movement for 3 turns. During this time, they also have disadvantage on attacks. This counts as an action. This only applies to enemies that possess blood. This is usable after every short rest.

    Impede - Edited

    Afflict your opponent with a blood curse that begins rigor mortis even while they yet live.  As an action you can sacrifice your proficiency modifier in hitpoints to halve an enemy's movement for 3 turns. During this time, they also have disadvantage on attacks.This only applies to enemies that possess blood. This is usable once per short rest.

    Impede - Edited Alternate (No disadvantage)

    Afflict your opponent with a blood curse that begins rigor mortis even while they yet live.  As a bonus action you can sacrifice your proficiency modifier in hitpoints to affect the target as if they were affected by the Slow spell until the end of your next round. This can be used a number of times per short rest equal to constitution modifier.

    Basically do not be afaraid to make make changes often when making a custom class.

    posted a message on 4 Attacks in 1 Round at 3rd Level?

    Everyone above is correct Action surge lets you take another Action, not bonus action, or reaction.

    So when you Action surge you can

    1. Attack action which gives your your number of attacks this does not include bonus action obviously

    2. Dash

    3. Disengage

    4. Use an item that takes action to use.

    This is also the same result as if you were dual wielding which takes your bonus action to swing with your offhand

    There is only 1 class in the game that gets 3 attacks at the start and 4 attacks at level 5 and that is monk but they have to burn a resource for it where later fighter gains 4 attacks naturally and will often hit with the same damage dice endgame for no resource but at this point monk picks up utility fighter doesn't have

    Welcome to the community man. But I would warn against attempting to make your own dice many people will assume they are weighted if you did which is a large no go at pretty much any table even if you had no idea how to go about it or it was even you attention i know many people that would immediately assume the worst about them.

    Like DMGorani said check amazon you can get bulk dice on the cheap (skullsplitter which is a good brand 18 sets for $23 is on amazon) or check out sites like Kraken dice they sell top quality plastic sets for about 15 on average depends on sales  and other factors but their dice is heavily kickstarter and designer focused so they tend to be a little pricey.

    posted a message on Can You wield Two Handed Weapons w/ shields?

    The thing is you can hold a two handed sword in real life with one hand but you won't have any speed accuracy or power to any strike so technically you could theoretically but the rulebook disssalows it because 1. it is silly and 2. Taking a shield is supposed to be a trade off of more defense for less damage than taking a 2 hander or dual wielding.

     Ottos give advantage on attacks which gives sneak attack also so kinda a moot point

    Also Ottos just works Sleep has a lot of stipulations and quickly loses effectiveness at higher levels

    I am playing a criminal/intrigue campaign as a changeling college of shadows bard one of our players did that thing of he grabs everything after a fight and uses well it is what my character would do.

    I'm playing him as a high functioning sociopath with murderous tendencies who tolerates the rest of the group as long as they remain useful to him.

    Well later in the night when we were going to take our long rest I snuck into his room stuck a hold person and murdered him in his sleep and when he asked why the f*** I just killed him I responded. It is what my character would do...

    The best part was everyone's face except the DM's girlfriend who already knew how messed up this character was going to be.
